Model :
Double cone air filter with 8 layers of filter surface without oil hence the name Dryflow! Dryflow filters are best suited for street or where you drive many miles as they have better cleaning of debris particles with their 8 layers than the motorsport variant has with its 4 layers where instead maximum flow and performance has been prioritized. Also very suitable for those who use air mass meters as dryflow are oil-free and thus do not risk disturbing the air mass meter by it can release oil from the filter on the sensor.

Construction :
Filter material that is built up in layers with a steel skeleton that gives the air filter stability to handle surges and pressure surges in the best way. It can also withstand a lot of physical abuse without breaking, but it only becomes brittle if the blows are strong. Several other manufacturers use internal plastic baskets to hold up the filter, which we have seen break several times where pieces of plastic and into the turbo and risk damaging and destroying it. You don't risk this with the Hurricane Dryflow air filter.

Installation :
Mount so that fresh air easily reaches the filter surface. Mount away from the engine's heat radiation as the intake temperature greatly affects the engine's efficiency. Also keep the filter protected from water, dirt and heat radiation for the best lifespan.

Cleaning :

1. Fill a bucket with water and filter cleaner/soap
2. Dip the filter in the water and spin around
3. Remove the filter and let it drain and air dry

Handling :
Hurricane motorsport air filters are very wear-resistant but must still be handled carefully to maintain maximum power and flow.
