Quick Release Button Installation Guide:

We've decided to add a full installation guide here as we have a few questions on the best way to install these. If you are unsure about any steps, please ask a professional to install them.

1. First, you will want to find a suitable mounting location for the ball-headed bar behind where you want to mount the quick release button.
2. Once you've found the suitable spot use a 7mm drill bit (if necessary) to drill the hole for the bar.
3. Adjust the bar to roughly the correct length, and use a supplied washer and m6 nut on either end of the mounting surface, but do not tighten yet; loosely finger tight will be enough to hold the bar in place.
4. Next, get the panel that will house the quick-release button, and using a punch, mark the centre of where you want to drill.
5. Using a 20mm drill bit, drill the hole through the bumper or panel you want to fasten.
6. Remove the hex nut from the back of the quick release button, push the button through the freshly drilled hole and install the Hex nut back on the rear.
7. Tighten the hex nut with a 24mm spanner or socket, and you're all done with the bumper side.
8. Install the bumper or panel onto the car, push the quick-release button into the ball, and wait to hear and feel the click to ensure it's seated correctly.
9. Adjust the mounting screws to the perfect length where the button isn't being pushed or pulled, and you have the perfect fitment; now, tighten both m6 nuts on either side of the bar.
10. You're now all done, and you can repeat this for as many quick-release buttons as you've purchased! Remember to tag us in any photos on social media, as we'd love to see them!
